Bavarian Reverie – Hand-tufted designer rug

Bring the alpine imagery of Bavaria and its traditional symbols into your home as a modern design object. This luxurious, hand-tufted rug made from high-quality New Zealand wool combines mountain landscapes, edelweiss, pretzels, and beer steins in a graphically clear composition. The dense, soft pile and the earthy, high-contrast color palette make it an eye-catcher for living rooms, bedrooms, offices, or reception areas.

The focus is on striking alpine motifs: dark mountain silhouettes with bright snowfields, gently curved green hills, a large-format edelweiss, a pretzel, and a decorative beer stein with a lion motif reminiscent of Bavarian heraldry. A diagonally arranged diamond border further incorporates traditional design language. Fir green, cream, anthracite, ochre, and warm brown give the rug depth, naturalness, and a distinctive vintage accent. The precise hand-tufting highlights petals, contours, and ornaments in relief, creating a high-quality, pleasantly structured surface.

Design Inspiration Bavaria:

The design is inspired by Bavaria's alpine landscape, tavern culture, and traditional folk art. Mountain ranges and green hills form a peaceful backdrop, while edelweiss, pretzels, and beer steins incorporate familiar symbols of regional culture. The diamond border quotes Bavarian ornamentation in a reduced, modern form. Clear surfaces, strong contours, and a deliberately limited color palette translate these motifs into a contemporary visual language spanning Alpine Folk, Retro Graphics, Mid-Century, and Modern Interior Design.

Care Instructions:

Regularly vacuum with a pure suction setting and without a rotating brush. Immediately blot spills carefully with a clean, absorbent cloth; do not rub. Treat stains locally with a mild cleaning agent suitable for wool carpets. Professional carpet cleaning is recommended for thorough cleaning. A rug pad is recommended to reduce slipping and extend the life of the rug.

Important note on colors:

Due to different screen settings, color calibrations, and lighting conditions, the actual color tones may vary slightly from the display on the screen. Since wool is a natural material and each rug is handmade, slight differences in pile, texture, and color effect are natural characteristics and emphasize the individual character of each piece.
