Its sculptural texture and carefully balanced colours bring character to contemporary living rooms, studies and lounge spaces.

Five softly rounded colour fields float on a deep blue rectangular ground. Ochre, terracotta, stone grey and ivory balance one another, their varied proportions giving the composition an unhurried rhythm.

Design inspiration – Basel Lantern Nocturne

The lanterns of Basel's Fasnacht are the starting point for Lantern Nocturne. Their warm glow against the darkness becomes an arrangement of independent colour forms, each with space to make its presence felt. Uneven intervals suggest movement without depicting a particular scene. The result has the atmosphere of an evening painting: rich in contrast, warm yet restrained. Matte wool gives the design a soft, tangible presence. In a contemporary interior, Lantern Nocturne pairs naturally with pale upholstery, dark wood and ceramics, carrying a quiet memory of Basel's cultural life into the home.

Key features

Premium quality: Hand-tufted with a New Zealand wool pile for a soft, substantial feel and a naturally matte finish.

Exclusive IDekron design: An original design from IDekron's Swiss city collection.

Inspired by Basel: The lanterns of Basel's Fasnacht are the starting point for Lantern Nocturne.

Colour palette: Midnight blue, ochre, terracotta, stone grey and ivory.

Craftsmanship: Gently raised colour fields sit above a lower ground to create tactile relief, with carefully carved contours keeping the shapes clear.

Styling: A distinctive focal point for modern living rooms, quiet workspaces and city apartments furnished with art.

Ideal for

Living rooms · Bedrooms · Studies · Reception and lounge areas · Contemporary city apartments

Care instructions

Vacuum gently and regularly using suction only, without a rotating brush.
